PICT Workshops

For mental health services, self help groups,organisations etc.

Groups of 15-20 with their own venue.

The PICT workshops run from 9.30 till 4.30pm and are lively and informative and count as 6 hours CPD.

PICT Workshop Schedule

The typical day consists of:

Registration and details taken for certificate.
Introduction of the visualisation tool
Break
Demonstration with Volunteer
Lunch
Supervised Practical Pairs work.
Debrief and Questions, Evaluation sheets .

There will be a work book provided so no need to take notes.

Discovering & Changing Limiting Beliefs

Being able to identify and remove limiting belief statements is of prime importance to anyone wishing to facilitate change in behaviour. To change eating habits, lifestyle, to take responsibility for one’s own health, reduce distress responses, etc. will require belief work, because what we believe creates the reality we experience.


Accessing Inner Resources for Solving Past, Future or Current Challenges

This technique is useful whenever people feel disempowered and unable to connect with their own resources or inner harmony. This simple yet powerful technique can be used to assist with problems such as: lack of assertiveness; fear of public appearance; recognising one’s inner resources; facing difficult situations; understanding how past mistakes could have been avoided, etc.


Creating Positive, Attainable Goals & Discovering Potential Blocks to Their Success

This is an information gathering tool to assist therapists to be forewarned about stumbling blocks clients may face and to assist clients to actually access the ‘state’ of the outcome they want from therapy. Accessing the ‘state’ creates hope within clients, helps them be more inwardly focused towards attaining their therapeutic goals and reduces resistance.


Anger Management Manoeuvres – Easy & Practical Strategies

Straightforward strategies to release any backlog of anger and to more easily deal with the angry displays of others.


Eliminating Phobias & Allergies

Learn rapid (10/15 minutes) visualisation techniques to disconnect or drastically reduce phobic and allergic responses. [Note: not used with allergies that cause anaphylactic shock].


Trauma Stoppers & Parts Work

Quickly (10 minutes) reduce or remove emotionally crippling effects that linger after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. Parts Work – Using visualisation techniques, assist clients to resolve inner conflicts using their own innate wisdom.
