Hello

My name is Sally

Through many years of Professional and Personal training and healing I have discovered that IFS combined with Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a very gentle and healing way to come home to the Self you really are.  I am also Poly Vagal Informed.

Compassionately making time and space to connect with our system is most healing.

I had the privilege of having one-off sessions in level 1, 2 and 3 IFS Trainings from the Masters, Dick Schwartz, Frank Anderson and Paul Ginter. I am very grateful to these experts for this invaluable learning.

My gratitude to have learnt and continuing to learn that less is more, is extremely important to me. Personally and Professionally I have witnessed how the power of Self can emerge when we are given the space and guidance whilst incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. This informs my way of being and my practice.

My learning shows me that the more I know the less I know. That we are all walking on the shoulders of Giants.

I work collaboratively and intuitively with each individual and group.

If you want to change the way you feel and understand why you feel the way you do, helping you to accept yourself and others, At One Psychotherapy, can help.

With many years of working in this industry I am confident I can offer you a professional, kind and confidential haven.  I also welcome Supervisees who wish to work with IFS and towards their IFS Certification.

I am firstly very interested in our relational connections, studying with the Sensorimotor Institute which introduced me to Ron Kurtz, Hakomi method and has been life changing for me, so of course my practice.

Discovering Internal Family Systems has also been a revelation for both my practice and myself. I was privileged to have a demonstration with Richard Schwartz, which literally, changed my life.

I work collaboratively as an Integrative Psychotherapist, Integrative Clinical Supervisor, in private practice with adults one to one. I have also been an Associate with the MTCIC and EAP’s, including PFA, and WPO, I was Supervising for Survivors in Transition (SIT) in Ipswich, and offering professional training with Tim Woodhouse.

More about Sally...

I am a registered and a Senior accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (B.A.C.P., Snr. Accred) I abide by their ethical framework for good practice.

I am committed and passionate about my personal and professional learning.  Self-awareness and Mindfulness is key, we can only accompany our clients if we have walked that way ourselves.  Our ability to narrate our life story, having made sense of it, is clearly indicated by our ability to feel calm and balanced in our bodies in the Here and Now.

"Courage doesn’t happen when you have all the answers, It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding

your whole life."

- Shannon L. Alder

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy integrates beautifully with my practice and enhances the work I do. I am also very interested in Neuroscientific research especially Dr. Dan Siegels contribution and have attended both his conferences with Confer, and more recently with Stephen Porges, very important Poly Vagal Theory.

Horses are my passion and have a great deal to teach us. This is an area I am very much developing and have been excited at how ‘the horse’ has helped my clients in very deep and beautiful moments.

The use of Mindfulness and Compassion towards self has brought a great deal of clarity both for my clients and myself.
